Storyline

A psychological thriller about a beautiful teen girl new to town who is lured out to the woods by a group of senior boys to be the victim in their final initiation. Taught by her trainer, William, to be a lethal weapon, she turns the hunters into the hunted with a level of perversity far beyond anything they could have ever imagined. Written by Anonymous

A fairly nice way to spend a late evening

The movie was slow paced, more atmospheric and visual interesting than intensely plot driven or full of action. Watching it brought to mind echoes of clockwork orange, with the intense lighting harking to David lynch movies. Lots of scenes with sharp shadows, bright lights, even in the woods. The progression was inevitable, the final two scenes a neat closure on the minimal story. Often with this kind of thing there are unresolved threads, questions of what the police might say. Here the only really unanswered question was the relationship between the motivation of the older man and the men our heroine gets to meet.

Never boring, a timely change from endless gunfights and car chases. There was also an undercurrent of some deeper spiritual tale. I liked it.
